OCTOBER CHALLENGE - Invite a Friend to Church:

Think of someone in your life—a neighbor, coworker, family member, or friend—who could be encouraged by joining us at Hope Lutheran for worship. A simple invitation can open the door for someone to experience God’s love and community in a fresh way. Let’s step out in faith together and see what God can do through our invitation to worship at Hope Lutheran!Postcards will be available by September 14, 2025 at the entrance of the church for you to share.

October Walk Around

The October 16th walk around offering will to Hope Harbor.

Hope Harbor offers family-style care for teens as they heal from a variety of issues that are unfortunately commonplace for youth today. These include past abuse, trauma, anger, substance use, mental health challenges, exploitation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, attachment issues, and more.  They work with ordinary kids who are healing from extraordinary things; each one a child of God, loved by the Savior.

Swedish Meatball Supper - November 2

The annual Swedish Meatball Supper is being planned for Sunday evening, November 2 from 5-7 pm, with Rose Van Uden in charge of the meal preparation. She will be calling on our members to help in many areas, so please be willing to do your part to make this a successful event.  Besides the great meal, a bake sale will also be held. And here is where we ALL can get involved. Please be thinking about the goodies you can make for the sale, for a variety of items is always needed to please the people who come to shop. Baked goods of all kinds are appreciated, as well as candy, snacks, and jams and jellies.  Lefse will also be highlighted for the sale, so lefse makers, get ready. If you have not been contacted but would like to make lefse for the bake sale, it would be greatly appreciated.  Flyers and posters will be going out soon to invite folks to come to our annual supper, and you, as members are also encouraged to come. This is a delicious meal prepared right in Hope’s kitchen and you won’t want to miss it.  Let’s get excited for our upcoming meal and bake sale.We can make this a big success if we all work together!
